Used my new chevron template on the top. And I finally made that burlap banner I set out to do in the beginning of the month.
For this layout, I followed the paint challenge from Counterfeit Kit. I just love the blue/brown combo. and the splattering of the chocolate milk. It was fun to get all retro and use some of my new Jenni Bowlin goodies.
That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh these are both wonderful - peachy keen in fact. (That's a favorite saying of mine!) The burlap banner is super cool, and is the way you used paint as chocolate milk. Both of these are wows in by book!
ReplyDeleteI love that burlap banner - I have some burlap and need to scraplift this! Cute! Love both layouts!
ReplyDeleteHi! Would you mind shooting us an e-mail over at the counterfeit kit challenge?

Hi there! I thought for sure I had already been here, but maybe I'm thinking of your Flickr stream.
ReplyDeleteThat top spread looks like it belongs in one of the glossy magazines! It's just perfect. Graphic & artsy details - that banner is the sweetest - and a lovely story with cute pics of a cute kiddo. Just LOVE it!
And you know my heart went pitter-patter when I saw the vintage milk jug & perfect JB milk top embellis! The paint splat was a genius touch for this subject & looks great against the blue background. You got all the details right & balanced really well on here - good one!
