SHOtime LOAD Wrap Up

Over at Lain Ehmann's "ScrapHappy" membership blog, I had the honor to help out with organizing the member's only Layout A Day challenge for October along with scrapbestie, Leslie.  It was fun and sometimes challenging to come up with interesting, varied and  open-ended prompts for 31 days!  Leslie had a great theme of movies and theater (hence the double meaning of SHO and Scrap Happy Only) as a starting point, but the prompts didn't always directly relate to a movie or show.  We offered many different ways to interpret the prompt and encouraged LOADsters to bend it however necessary.  Producing 31 layouts in 31 days is always a challenge, but co-producing the whole SHO, so to speak, added another layer to the challenge.  You would think that since I knew the prompts ahead of time and, in some cases, even wrote them, that would make it easier, but no such luck!  Upon reading one of the prompts the day it  was to be completed I thought to myself, "What was I thinking?"  LOL!  Overall, it was a great experience on the part of participant and producer and I did manage to complete all 31 days.  The last 2 days I wasn't actually able to upload as we were without power due to Hurricane Sandy, but I did scrap during daylight hours to finish the commitment I made to myself.

Here are a few highlights from the month:

Thirty-one more stories told and memories documented.  Thanks for taking a look.
