Challenge #3 - Call a Spade a Spade

Challenge #3 has us being inspired by the iconic (and expensive) style of Kate Spade.
Truth is that I've got caviar tastes with a tuna fish wallet!
I spotted this Kate Spade bag while browsing one the "better" department stores, but quickly got sticker shock when I noticed the price tag.
No how could I justify carrying around a $300 wicker handbag even though I thought it was just adorable.
Plus, throw in my family's obsession with VW bugs and I was head over heels.

Oh well...a girl can dream!

  1. Very pretty page--and a cute handbag!

  2. Wow - that's quite a pricey purse! It's very cute though and I love the way you paid tribute to it on your page. Very feminine and girly - totally Kate-worthy!

  3. Cute as a bug in a rug. Now if that had been a '50's style camping trailer... I would have worked it into my crafting budget.

  4. YIKES on the price tag. Good for you for scrapbooking that story. The little stories are so important to what makes us who we are. This page is so pretty too.

  5. Oh, you know how much I love this, and I spy some older stash in there! Love the metal tag standing in for a price tag - so clever. Such a fun page!

  6. Such a fun layout. The bag is adorable and I would have been tempted too even though I don't have the bug bug! Pam took me to the shop in Chelsea and I fell in love. I could have bought it all - when I win the lottery! I adore the colours of this layout and that little cluster on the right is so gorgeous. This is lovely. Did you make three layouts this month???
