CKC Challenge #1 - Picture This!

Hey there!  Just a quick post to show you my creation for Challenge #1 - Picture This!  The goal here is to use 4 or more photos on a page.  For me, the quickest and easiest way to achieve this is to use a collage maker.  I love my subscription to Picmonkey and along with cool photo effects, fonts, and frames, there are a variety of collage combinations.

Here's my layout featuring a Mother's Day photo shoot with my kids:

I broke up the collage by not including a photo in every cell, but I did meet the minimum of 4 photos.  I then added a project life style card and the title spilling out of the open cells.

I used my July kit, "Shabby Shutter" to complete this layout.  This title is sort of an inside joke here around our house.

While it may sound like I'm being a martyr, I don't mean it like that.  I joke with the kids, but they know that I would go to the moon and back for them.

Just some pretty little details like a lacy Maya Road doily and a Jillybean Soup vintage style button to finish off this Mother's Day layout.

How will you include mulitple photos on your page?  If you aren't a collage maker, you may want to consider it.  Easy peasy!

Can't wait to see your creation.

Counterfeit Kit Challenge July Reveal and Blog Hop

Welcome to another month of inspiration - Counterfeit Kit Challenge style!  This time around we are traveling over to Germany to check out "Scrapabilly", a German kit club where our own Lisa is a design team member.  Speaking of travel and Lisa, I will be taking a very unexpected trip to Germany to see Lisa at the end of this month!  I am beyond excited!  Hubby has some work travel and I get to tag along for an opportunity of a lifetime.  So excited to spend time with her AND visit Europe.  So...I'm not gonna lie.  This reveal is pretty bare bones and while I do feel like I captured the essence of the kit, my head has really been all over the place with trip planning and keeping the kids busy since they have finished school.  So, please forgive me and I promise to give you more details about my process and the products next time!

Let's take a look:

Green happens to be one of my favorite colors, so I was very excited to assemble this month's kit...

Now for some close-ups...

The printer's tray has some pretties to share...

Some alphas and labels are a must!

It's time for you to get busy creating!  Can't wait to see what you find in your stash.

Here is our list for the blog hop.  Be sure to say hello and leave comments for us all.

A warm welcome to our guest designer, Julie!
