It's that time again...May Counterfeit Kit Reveal Blog Hop!

After a productive month with my April kit, I feel satisfied to put the leftover pieces away and start anew.  This month's inspiration comes from a "down under" scrapbook kit club called, "Polly Scraps" and it is entitled, "Shoreline".  Here, take a peek:

March Kit - Shoreline
A trim, ship-shape kit of carefully chosen pieces to convey that nautical vibe. I've always been smitten by the nautical look so I found it easy to create my own version of this kit.

Here are just a few photos from my collection to prove my infatuation with the sea:

And that's only a handful of them!  LOL!  Let's hop aboard ship and see what kind of scrapping itinerary I have planned for you!

Presenting...

Ahoy!

A closer look at my papers...

I had fun counterfeiting the chalkboard art with this "Mom" tattoo paper.  And a quick google search for an anchor and some careful cutting made an instant stencil for my yellow anchor patterned paper.  That seemed like a "must" for this kit.

It's amazing what you can find on the internet!  I searched "anchor chalkboard art" on Pinterest and found this quote.  Another fun, handmade creation for my nautical kit.  And isn't that whale washi dispenser FAB?  I couldn't resist when I saw it at Joann's.

If you check out the add-on kit, you'll see it includes wooden Bingo chips by Crate Paper.  I thought the addition of red went right along with the seafaring feel.  You can see my counterfeit version above.  Be sure to check back to the CKC blog on the 8th to find lots of links on how you can make your own and other pieces of the inspiration kit.
Wood tone tiny types (those small letters are a "must" for almost all my layouts), clothes pins, and random word stickers will have your layout set sail on the high seas!

Some Thickers and stickers and a handmade envelope.  Silly me...I should have photographed it facing the other way so you can see the button and twine closure.  You get the idea...

Now, be sure to hop along to all of the design team including our very talented guest designer, Sherrie!  The list is below so you can navigate through the sea of creativity and inspiration.
